ULI North Florida awards a Visionary Leader based on the following criteria:

1. The candidate must be an individual leader who has made a difference in “Place Making” for our community (anywhere in the North Florida District Council region)
2. The candidate must be a recognized leader, either public official or private sector leader, who has championed Best Practice principles in development or land use. The candidate does not have to be a member of ULI, but always preferred.
3. The candidate must have demonstrated multi-year, sustained leadership efforts for development in a targeted area such as downtown, open space and/or marketplace.
