Applications for Center for Leadership will open in 2025!

ULI North Florida’s Center for Leadership (CFL) is a dynamic program created to not only develop leadership skills, but inspire collaboration and gain a better understanding of approaches to leadership.

The eight-month program is exclusively designed for professionals in land use, real estate and related fields. Attendees will network, collaborate and learn about land use issues in North Florida through experiential activities and case studies focused on topics including trends in capital markets, public policy, design and construction.

Each session includes presentations, panel discussions, property tours, small group activities and project analyses allowing class members insight into various market sectors and broadening their perspectives on current issues and opportunities that are relevant to the region.

Class of 2024 Program Days:

September 6, 2023 – Opening Session

October 4, 2023 – Capital Markets

November 1, 2023 – Infrastructure & Resiliency

December 6, 2023 – Real Estate & Urban Development

February 7, 2024 – UrbanPlan

March 6, 2024 – Project Tours in Gainesville

April 10, 2024 – Legislative Day in Tallahassee

May 1, 2024 – Graduation

Candidate Criteria

Experienced Professional: Those poised to assume leadership positions in the North Florida Region or their profession in the near-term.
Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the real estate industry or related field, including, but not limited to, development, architecture, planning, law, construction, government, transportation, engineering, finance, sustainability, and non-profits.
Commitment: The Center for Leadership requires a significant time commitment. It is an eight-month program with eight full-day seminars. If accepted to this prestigious, competitive program, you are pledging in good faith to be fully-engaged and involved. Attendance to BOTH the FIRST program day on September 6 and the LAST program day in May 1, 2023 is mandatory, and one excused absence during the other months is permitted.

What Makes This Program Different?

The Center for Leadership will provide the only hands-on real estate focused program that includes advanced leadership training, inside knowledge of successes in regional real estate, a unique opportunity to help mold the future of our region, and to create a multi-level network that will boost careers and business.

CFL is open to members and non-members. Attendees from any of the counties that make up ULI North Florida from Pensacola to Jacksonville are welcome to apply.
