The Urban Land Institute North Florida Announces Sarah Wicker as 2025 Incoming District Council Chair

JACKSONVILLE, FL (February 17, 2025) – The Urban Land Institute (ULI) is pleased to announce that Forestar Group Inc. executive Sarah Wicker has been named Chair-Elect of the ULI North Florida District Council. The Forestar Florida Region Vice President will succeed current Chair Olivia Frick, Business Development, PCL Construction, as District Council Chair effective July 1, 2025, and serve a two-year term.
Wicker will oversee the District Council and provide strategic direction on its initiatives and activities. She currently serves on the ULI North Florida Management Committee as the Chair of the Developer’s Roundtable Committee. Wicker also served as a mentor in the 2022-2023 YLG Mentoring Program and as a judge for the 2024 ULI Awards for Excellence event.
“I am honored to be named Chair-Elect of the ULI North Florida District Council,” Wicker said. “I have had the privilege of working alongside many inspiring individuals throughout my career, and I look forward to collaborating with the talented members of ULI to continue advancing the mission and supporting the development of our region.”
In addition to Wicker’s involvement inULI, she brings experience from previous roles at Forestar and Wells Fargo. Her experience spans areas including real estate development, leadership, and strategic planning. Wicker is involved in several civic organizations, including Wells Fargo Reading First (2013-2019), HabiJax Annual Blitz Build, and Feeding Northeast Florida.
Sarah Wicker holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University, and her robust skill set includes real estate, marketing, public speaking, and commercial real estate, among others.
“I have seen firsthand the dedication and commitment of Sarah, and I am confident that she will bring exceptional leadership to the District Council,” Frick said. “Sarah’s passion for ULI’s mission and her vision for the future of the region will be instrumental in driving our efforts forward.”
