Darin Mellott is a Senior Director of Capital Markets Research at CBRE. In this capacity, Darin leads a global team of Capital Markets Research Analysts and works with other members of senior leadership to provide analysis and develop “house views” on global markets and economic conditions, with a focus on their impact on real estate. Beyond this, Darin leads and contributes to research and strategy efforts across the globe on behalf of clients, and has authored numerous white papers for the firm. He also represents CBRE with the media and at public forums on a frequent basis. Prior to his current role, Darin was CBRE’s Director of Research for the Americas.

Camilo Miguel founded Mast Capital in 2006 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer, focused on investment strategy and risk management. He has an extensive real estate, financial and political network, with expertise in investment structuring, complex debt and equity products, execution and development. Mr. Miguel has built the firm into a leading investor and developer of high-end residential, hospitality, office and retail projects, with a particular focus in high barriers-to-entry markets. Prior to founding Mast, he founded and served as President of Vertica Group, a land investment and repositioning company, where he oversaw all aspects of the businesses, including acquisitions, entitlements, operations and asset management. Before this, he co-founded Clear Title Group, a boutique real estate title insurance company focused on offering closing services to luxury condominium and home developers, buyers and sellers, which quickly grew into a distinguished market leader in its segment. Mr. Miguel graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.

Scott MacLaren has been with Stiles, a full service commercial real estate company based in Fort Lauderdale that includes development, construction, tenant project management, property management, brokerage, architecture, asset management, acquisitions, and financing since 1999. He was promoted to President in 2016 and as a member of the company’s executive leadership team, he is focused on day-to-day operations and overall strategy, and plays an integral role in driving Stiles’ future pipeline of activity, including development, acquisitions, and third-party services. Throughout his career at Stiles, Scott has held roles in all aspects of sales, financing, acquisitions and asset management, and has directed numerous ground-up development projects. He is highly experienced in the development and redevelopment of neighborhood shopping centers and mixed-use projects as well as the acquisition of value-add commercial properties and new land inventory. Most recently, he served as President of Stiles North Carolina Operations, where he developed and executed the company’s growth strategy throughout Stiles’ Southeastern US markets. His team is credited with successfully establishing the Stiles brand and reputation throughout that region while building a pipeline of development projects. He is a licensed Florida real estate salesperson and graduate from the University of Florida with both an undergraduate degree in Finance and an MBA. He has been actively involved in numerous professional and community organizations, including Urban Land Institute, University of Florida Real Estate Advisory Board, Jack and Jill Children’s Center, American Heart Association’s Broward Heart Walk, Habitat for Humanity, Boca Raton Planning and Zoning Board, the Soccer Association of Boca Raton, and St. Joan of Arc Church.

Greg T. West is the President and Chief Executive Officer of ZOM Living and is responsible for all aspects of the Company with particular focus on development activities nationally. He joined ZOM in 1997 and since been involved with all aspects of the development process including identifying new opportunities, compiling due diligence and underwriting parameters. He is also responsible for project design, permitting, and construction. Mr. West also plays a key role in business development and investor relations. Presently ZOM has under construction 3,700 units in Florida, Texas, Chicago, Carolinas and the Mid-Atlantic. Over the next twelve months the company will start 2,200 additional units bringing active development volume over $1.7 billion dollars. Mr. West received a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Southern Methodist University and has received two Masters of Science degrees from Texas A&M University in Land Development and Construction Management. He serves on the Board of Directors of the National Multifamily Housing Council, is a board member of the Miami Downtown Development Authority and on the Advisory Board of the University of Miami Master of Construction Management program. Mr. West is the current Governance Chair of the ULI Southeast Florida and Caribbean District Council. He was recently asked to serve as a ULI Global Governing Trustee, as a member of the ULI Americas Executive Committee, and on the ULI Advisory Board of the Center for Sustainability and Economic Performance.
