    Marsha Swider

    Project Manager, eda consultants inc.

Marsha Swider is an optimistic designer with a passion for a context sensitive approach to problem solving for community improvement projects in the public and private realms of development. Her background in landscape architecture and urban planning allow her to employ a perspective that is rooted in the interrelationship of developments’ physical form and the human experience. She prides herself on her unique ability to empathetically engage with community members and artfully communicate engineered solutions to development issues with easy to understand graphics and illustrations. Her publication of BUCKHEAD REdeFINED: Livable Centers Initiative 15-Year Plan Update won the American Planning Association Outstanding Planning Document award in 2017, her photography of North Fulton Community Improvement Districts’ Encore Parkway Bridge was placed Top 10 in Engineering Georgia Magazine’s Inaugural Photo Contest in 2018, and her Master Plan renderings for several North Florida real estate and development projects have been featured in variety of public media outlets. When she is not covered in pencil shavings you can find her hiking a nature trail, advocating for multi-modal and bicycle networks, or sipping on a local brew with her nose in a social science book trying to strategize ways of obtaining unobtrusive measures in her surrounding environment.
