The Future of the Northbank Riverfront District: Building Healthy Places

presented by ULI & AIA Jacksonville

ULI North Florida and AIA Jacksonville have partnered on a Building Healthy Places initiative to study an area that has some challenges related to the health of our City:

DOWNTOWN & RIVERSIDE DISTRICT

Applying ULI’s Ten Principles to Building Healthy Places, we have assembled an expert team of panelists that will guide us through this community exercise:

The Panelists Include:

Melody Bishop, Akel Logan Shafer • Lori Boyer, Jacksonville City Council Member • Jim Catlett, Infinity Global Solutions • Dr. Dawn Emerick, Health Planning Council of Northeast Florida • Nat Ford, JTA • Preston Haskell, The Haskell Company • Terry Lorince, Downtown Vision • Eric Mann, The YMCA • Jerry Mallot, JAXUSA Partnership • Alan Mosely, JAX Chamber • Jimmy Orth, St. Johns Riverkeeper •
Bob Rhodes, Attorney at Law • Brian Teeple, Northeast Florida Regional Planning Council • Aundra Wallace, Downtown Investment Authority • Ben Warner, JCCI • Carol Westmoreland, Florida Redevelopment Association

Prior to the Luncheon, these expert panelists will be meeting one-on-one with many of the companies and organizations in the Northbank area. They will listen to presentations, ask questions, and ultimately make recommendations for the betterment of the community. Attendees of the Luncheon will hear an overview of these meetings and their outlook on the Future of this Region.
